Material Support

When one of our immigrant neighbors is detained or deported, it can have grave consequences for their family. Legal expenses, phone calls or transportation to a detention facility, or childcare can become a financial burden. If the person detained was the main bread-winner, a family can be left without funds for food, clothing, rent, or utilities. Through its network of volunteers, Proyecto Faro can help with immediate aid, connect families with resources to take care of daily needs, and help families make a plan to go forward.

Has your family member been detained? Can we help you in this difficult period?  Please be in touch: (845) 262-9586 or info@proyectofarorockland.org.

Are you able to donate to support immigrants whose family members have been detained? We need help securing funds, food, clothing, toy donations, phone cards, and gift cards for supermarkets and other kinds of stores. Let us know if you’d like to help.
