Support Our Food Program

The pandemic and economic downturn hit immigrants very hard and they’re still experiencing the effects. In April 2020, we began a food relief program to support food insecure immigrants. The program is fueled by any immigrant volunteers committed to helping their community.

We currently hold two large food distributions a month, do a small weekly distribution, and host two community refrigerators. We’re feeding approximately 250 food insecure families each month and the need remains enormous. Therefore we greatly need financial contributions to help these families. Any size gift helps! (Proyecto Faro is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and, all contributions are tax deductible. We thank you for your support.)

Checks can be made out to Proyecto Faro with “Food Program” in the memo and can be mailed to:
17 Cricketown Road
Stony Point, NY 10980

We also need volunteers to solicit food donations from markets & do food drives in their networks. Please be in touch if you can help: info@proyectofarorockland.org
or (845) 262-9586.

Together, we can transform Rockland into a community where all residents are safe and have their needs met.
