In April 2020, at the start of the pandemic, we began a food relief program to meet enormous need in the immigrant community. The high cost of food leaves many of our underpaid and underemployed immigrant neighbors in a position of terrible food insecurity. The program is fueled by any immigrant volunteers committed to helping their community.
We currently do a weekly distribution, and host 3 community refrigerators. We’re feeding approximately 250 food insecure families each month and the need remains enormous. Therefore we greatly need financial contributions to help these families. Any size gift helps! (Proyecto Faro is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and, all contributions are tax deductible.
